A recent promotion within the Bibra Lake office has created an opportunity for a bright and motivated individual to join the logistics team as a Store Coordinator in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. This is a full-time permanent position (Monday to Friday 7am-3pm) and will suit someone looking for a stable and long-term career in logistics, inventory and wholesale distribution. The position is responsible for:Inventory management - Monitoring incoming purchase orders and container unpacking for the BranchMonitoring pending stock transfers and consignment stocksChecking store reports, entering stock and reprinting store reports.Organising and writing consignment notesConducting stocktake, analysing and investigating stock discrepanciesStock checks & locations - Organising the product and stock within the warehouseRaise stock conversions and stock transfers for conversionsRaise transfers for the return of empty intermediate bulk containers (IBC's) from customersInvestigate and resolve quality problems in ERP systems Print and despatch Emergency Information Panels (EIP’s) About youThe ideal candidate will display exceptional verbal and written communication skills, an aptitude for math, excellent time management, and be computer literate in the Microsoft suite and online systems. The position is responsible for:
- Inventory management - Monitoring incoming purchase orders and container unpacking for the Branch
- Monitoring pending stock transfers and consignment stocks
- Checking store reports, entering stock and reprinting store reports.
- Organising and writing consignment notes
- Conducting stocktake, analysing and investigating stock discrepancies
- Stock checks & locations - Organising the product and stock within the warehouse
- Raise stock conversions and stock transfers for conversions
- Raise transfers for the return of empty intermediate bulk containers (IBC's) from customers
- Investigate and resolve quality problems in ERP systems
- Print and despatch Emergency Information Panels (EIP’s)
About you
The ideal candidate will display exceptional verbal and written communication skills, an aptitude for math, excellent time management, and be computer literate in the Microsoft suite and online systems.
- At least 2yrs experience in a similar role
- Sound understanding of warehousing, shipping and distribution processes
- A current Australian forklift licence (LF) advantageous but not essential
- A strong eye for detail and the ability to manage and prioritise tasks
- Able to take initiative and work within company procedures
- Competent in online systems and possess fundamental math skills
- Physically fit and capable of physical lifting of stock as and when required
- Ability to liaise with a variety of people – including customers, transport/shipping companies and across teams/functions.
