Industry/Sector Not Applicable Specialism Operations Management Level Senior Manager Job Description & Summary The Opportunity As a Strategic Sourcing & Value Capture Consultant, Senior Manager, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing sourcing and procurement processes to drive cost savings, enhance supplier collaboration, and bolster supply chain resilience. Within our Operations practice, you will work closely with clients to analyze sourcing strategies, identify opportunities for cost reduction, and develop strategies to improve procurement efficiency and effectiveness. You will provide guidance on implementing strategic sourcing frameworks, supplier relationship management, and digital procurement solutions. As a Senior Manager, you will leverage your skills and network to deliver quality results, motivating and coaching teams to solve complex problems. You will apply sound judgment, recognizing when to take action and when to escalate, while developing and sustaining high-performing, diverse, and inclusive teams. Responsibilities - Leading strategic sourcing initiatives to optimize procurement processes and drive cost savings - Collaborating with clients to analyze sourcing strategies and identify opportunities for supplier optimization - Developing and implementing procurement strategies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness - Managing supplier relationships and fostering collaboration to strengthen supply chain resilience - Utilizing procurement software such as SAP Ariba and Coupa to streamline procurement operations - Conducting spend analysis to identify cost reduction opportunities and improve procurement performance - Overseeing contract negotiations and confirming contractual compliance - Providing guidance on digital procurement solutions and strategic sourcing frameworks - Coaching and mentoring teams to solve complex procurement challenges - Applying systems thinking to identify underlying problems and opportunities within procurement processes What You Must Have - At least a Bachelor's degree - At least 7 years of experience What Sets You Apart - Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Accounting, Business Administration/Management, Computer Science/Information Systems, Design/Multimedia, Economics, Engineering, Finance, Operations/Supply Chain, Organizational Management/Behavior, Project/Technology Management, Science - At least one of the following: Certified Supply Chain Management Professional (CSCMP), American Production and Inventory Control Society (APICS), Institute for Supply Management (ISM) - Demonstrating proficiency in complex procurement and contract negotiation - Utilizing SAP Ariba and Coupa Software for procurement processes - Excelling in supplier relationship management and strategic sourcing - Applying systems thinking to identify procurement opportunities - Leading teams through ambiguous and challenging procurement scenarios Travel Requirements Up to 60% Job Posting End Date The salary range for this position is: $124,000 - $280,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws. All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
