Be part of change Helping to shape the public image and corporate identity of an emerging deep-tech spin-off during its startup phase Setting up and maintaining the LinkedIn presence, planning editorial content, and creating content Graphic design for presentations, pitch decks, informational materials, and digital media Support writing social media posts and science communication content for various target audiences: industry, investors, and the professional community Support with external communications: preparing emails, initial outreach, and follow-ups with potential customers, partners, and investors Market research on target markets, competitors, and relevant industry players; building and maintaining contact lists Coordinating appointments, conference participation, and internal coordination Assisting with all non-technical tasks that arise during the early startup phase What you contribute Enrollment in a full-time degree program, ideally majoring in communications, business, engineering, design, entrepreneurship, or a related field Excellent written and spoken German and English skills Knowledge of graphic design and common tools (e.g., Adobe Suite, Canva, or similar) Basic technical understanding or a genuine interest in deep tech, photonics, and B2B markets Experience with LinkedIn or other professional networks is desirable A structured, independent work style, initiative, and a good sense of how to adapt to different communication situations Entrepreneurial mindset and a passion for building things from the ground up What we offer Firsthand insight into the development of a deep-tech spin-off in the fields of photonics and AI infrastructure Close collaboration with an interdisciplinary team of founders and researchers Short decision-making processes, autonomy, and plenty of creative freedom Hands-on experience in communication, marketing, business development, and fundraising preparation Insights into working with clients, partners, investors, trade shows, and startup networks Modern and excellently equipped workplace in a central location in Berlin Flexible working hours Opportunities to work from home The position is initially limited to 1 year. An extension is explicitly desired. The weekly working time is 20 hours. This position is also available on a part-time basis.
