Duration of Appointment Academic year and summer Maximum Scheduled Weekly Hours 1 Job Description Summary Personal trainers for Miami University are hired to assess, design, and supervise exercise programs for Recreational Center patrons. Job Description Essential Duties Maintains a safe and friendly environment, keeping patron well-being and satisfaction the priority Assesses, designs, and supervises exercise program for client according to their limitations and goals. Reports to appointments on time and in the proper uniform. Provides instruction on proper exercise equipment use and techniques. Addresses client concerns and questions involving Fitness Center or programs taking place within the Fitness Center. Reports any equipment issues, such as unsafe conditions or maintenance needs, observed during training to the Fitness staff.
