River Delta USD is always in need of substitutes who enjoy the flexibility of at will on call work. You can sub for one position type or all position types. Please indicate which position you are interested in subbing for. Classified Substitute Salary Pay varies dependent on the position you sub in. All subs are paid and hourly rate that aligns to Step A from the classified salary schedule that pertains to the position that is subbed in. The District has 8 small schools: (4) K-6 elementary schools; (2) middle schools; and (2) high schools serving the communities of Clarksburg, Hood, Courtland, Walnut Grove, Ryde, Locke, Isleton, Rio Vista, Birds Landing, and Collinsville. The River Delta Unified School District sits in three counties – Sacramento, Solano, and Yolo. Although it is a tri-county district, it is served by the Sacramento County Office of Education. River Delta Unified School District is committed to providing a quality education for all students and has high standards and expectations for students' success in school. The District continually improves and expands its curriculum by implementing new programs and broadening the instructional strategies used in the classroom. In addition, the District provides opportunities for staff to participate in on-going in-services in all curriculum areas. The district encourages advancement on the salary schedule for advanced classes taken to improve instruction in areas agreed upon by the teacher, principal, and Superintendent. SUB Description Subs are expected to perform the daily task for the individual that they are subbing for.
