Whether in the field or the office, our teams are united by a shared commitment to innovation, safety, and delivering exceptional results for our clients. **Role Description** Superintendents are responsible for managing the field operations across multiple active job sites. The role requires advanced knowledge of heavy civil construction, strong leadership capabilities, and a proactive approach to solving problems. The Superintendent will be responsible for project execution, safety, scheduling, coordination of subcontractors, and ensuring projects stay on time and within budget. **Superintendent Responsibilities:** • Oversee all daily site operations and ensure project milestones are met. • Coordinate and schedule crews, subcontractors, equipment, and materials. • Review and interpret construction drawings, plans, and specifications. • Ensure work is performed according to design, budget, schedule, and quality standards. • Monitor safety compliance and conduct regular safety meetings and inspections. • Communicate daily with project managers regarding progress, issues, and solutions. • Lead and mentor foremen and field crews to promote productivity and accountability. • Manage inspections, testing, and documentation required by municipalities or clients. • Identify potential risks or delays and implement corrective actions. • Maintain accurate records including daily reports, timecards, and material logs. **Requirements** • 5+ years of experience in site development or heavy civil construction. • 3+ years of supervisory experience as a Superintendent or similar leadership role. • Proficient in reading and interpreting civil plans and construction documents. • Strong understanding of grading, utility installation, stormwater management, and paving. • Knowledge of construction safety protocols and OSHA regulations. • Ability to lead and motivate field personnel effectively. • Excellent organizational, scheduling, and problem-solving skills. • Strong verbal and written communication skills. • Competency in basic computer applications (Microsoft Office, project management software). • Valid driver’s license. • OSHA 30 Certification strongly preferred. **Why join us:** - **Competitive Salary & Benefits**: We offer a competitive salary along with health insurance, retirement plans, and performance bonuses. - **Career Advancement**: We are committed to the growth and development of our employees, offering training programs and opportunities for career progression. - **Challenging and Rewarding Work**: Lead diverse and impactful projects that challenge your skills and expertise. - **State-of-the-Art Equipment**: Work with the latest machinery and technology in the construction industry. - **Strong Safety Culture**: We prioritize the safety and well-being of our employees with regular training and strict safety protocols. **What we offer:** - Health, Life, Dental and Vision Insurance - 401(k) Plan – Matching up to 6% **Fully Vested Day ONE!** - Paid Time Off (PTO), Parental Leave, Paid Pregnancy Medical Leave - Paid Holidays
