We’re revolutionizing how landscape contractors source plant and hardscape materials through a B2B marketplace that simplifies procurement in a traditionally outdated industry. Since our inception, we have helped landscapers save time, money, and stress and plant over 1.5 million plants and trees. Led by a young and eager group of entrepreneurs, GoMaterials is aggressively expanding across North America. We are therefore looking for amazing people to add to our team! **About the role:** If you thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment, this opportunity is for you! In this role, you’ll support the sales team by sourcing and qualifying new business leads and suppliers, playing a key role in driving our growth from day one. You’ll have the freedom to share your ideas, make an impact, and gain valuable, hands-on experience, with the potential to join our team full-time after your internship. ### What you’ll do: - **Learn and Evaluate:** Develop an eye for quality by learning how to distinguish between top-tier and substandard plant materials. - **Quality Assurance:** Ensure all plants delivered to our customers meet our standards for health, quality, and size. - **Supplier Communication:** Collaborate with suppliers to address and resolve any issues when materials don’t meet expectations. - **Team Collaboration:** Work closely with our operations specialists to maintain quality standards and ensure smooth order fulfillment. ### What's in it for you: - **Real Hands-On Experience:** You’ll play a key role in developing and executing our 2026 supply chain plans, gaining valuable, hands-on experience that makes a real impact. - **Opportunities for Growth:** As a fast-growing scale-up, you'll get exposure to a dynamic startup environment with exciting opportunities for future hiring and advancement. - **Make an Impact:** From day one, your ideas will be heard, your work will matter, and you’ll directly contribute to improving how we operate. - **Great Team Culture:** Join a young, motivated team of entrepreneurs who believe in working hard, having fun, and empowering each other to make a difference. ### What you'll need: - **Education:** Currently pursuing a degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, or a related field. - **Availability:** Able to work full-time (37.5 hours/week); both 4-month and 8-month contracts are available for the right candidate. - **Languages:** Strong written and spoken English; bilingualism in French is a plus. - **Software Skills:** Comfortable using Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides) to organize, track, and communicate effectively. - **Flexibility:** Thrives in a fast-paced, ever-evolving startup environment where priorities can shift quickly. - **Empathy:** Understands others’ perspectives and contributes thoughtfully during team discussions and problem-solving. - **Big-Picture Thinking:** Excellent organizational and communication skills with a knack for prioritizing what truly drives results. - **Attention to Detail:** A keen eye for accuracy and precision in every task.
