Supply Chain Specialist

Job description

## About the job **Keep Graphcore’s AI manufacturing moving with materials that arrive on time and records teams can trust.** As a Supply Chain Specialist in Taiwan, you’ll turn approved requirements into reliable day-to-day supply execution. Specialised AI compute needs a supply chain that can deliver on ambitious plans. Your accuracy and follow-through will help prevent material discrepancies from disrupting production. You’ll manage purchase orders from creation to closure, track shipments and support accurate goods receipt in the ERP system. When quantities or documents don’t match, you’ll investigate and coordinate a resolution with suppliers and internal teams. You’ll connect Procurement, Manufacturing, Engineering, Finance and Logistics to keep materials and information moving together. That gives you a direct view of how a specialist AI compute supply chain works. ## The team and culture You’ll join the Supply Chain team within Operations, working with colleagues in Taiwan and Bristol, UK. Day to day, you’ll coordinate with suppliers, receiving, warehouse and manufacturing teams to keep deliveries and receipts aligned. Approved requirements guide order releases; shipment updates and receiving data help you identify what needs attention. Speak up early about delivery risks, agree next steps with those involved and take responsibility for following through. ## What we’re looking for - Practical experience in supply chain, procurement operations, materials management or logistics. - Confidence using ERP or MRP systems to maintain accurate supply chain records. - Good Excel skills and the attention to detail to spot discrepancies in quantities, dates and documentation. - Strong organisation and follow-through, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines. - Clear written and verbal communication with suppliers, logistics providers and colleagues across different functions. - A proactive approach to identifying delivery risks, investigating issues and seeing resolutions through. While we have outlined a set of requirements, we value transferable skills and diverse experiences. We also welcome engineers returning to the profession after a career break, including through returnship routes. ## Benefits · Flexible working: Balance your work and personal life with greater flexibility · Generous annual leave: Take time to rest, recharge and enjoy life outside of work · Enhanced healthcare coverage: Private medical insurance alongside Taiwan's National Health Insurance scheme for added peace of mind · Phantom equity: Share in Graphcore’s success · Family healthcare options: The opportunity to extend healthcare coverage to your family members · Financial protection: Life and critical illness insurance to help safeguard you and your loved ones. · Proactive wellbeing support: An annual health assessment allowance to help you stay on top of your health · Eye care reimbursement: Support towards the cost of maintaining your vision and eye health We welcome people from all backgrounds and experiences and are committed to building an inclusive environment where everyone can do their best work.
