Job description
Linux, Windows, VMWare, Active Directory, Security+, Server Maintenance, Networking **Due to federal contract requirements, United States citizenship and an active TS/SCI security clearance and polygraph are required for the position.** ### Required: - Must be a US Citizen. - At least eight (08) to fourteen (14) years of direct/relevant experience. - Bachelor’s degree in technical field such as System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is preferred. - Must have experience as a systems administrator providing direct support to end users and technical staff (developers, testers, engineers, etc.). - Must be proficient with Windows Server 2019 and Active Directory. - Must have experience with software/hardware deployment, patches, operating systems, and basic system backup and restore functions. - Must have experience with/be familiar with SALT, Ansible, Splunk, Puppet, SolarWinds, Nessus. - Must have experience with and/or have knowledge of Red Hat and VMWare. - Must have a solid understanding of advanced security protocols and standards. - Must have experience with both Client and Server virtualization environments. - Must have experience with installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and reimaging hardware. - Must have a solid understanding of information security principles and practices. - Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. - Must be able to support occasional day or short duration travel. ### These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have: - Proficiency with SQL Server. - SALT and Python scripting experience. - Experience supporting a software configuration management and development environment. - Experience working in an Agile Development Environment or on an Agile Team. - Knowledge of PKI systems which use HSMs to validate key and NTP for synchronization. - Knowledge of PowerShell and PowerCLI. - Experience in documenting and providing information for security accreditation and certification.
