Talent

Job description

## **About Us** Tavus is a research lab pioneering human computing. We’re building AI Humans — a new interface that closes the gap between people and machines. Our real-time human simulation models allow machines to see, hear, respond, and even look real, enabling natural, face-to-face conversations at scale. We’re a Series B company backed by world-class investors including **Sequoia Capital, Y Combinator, and Scale Venture Partners.** Be part of shaping a future where humans and machines truly understand each other. ## **The Role** We’re hiring a **Senior Talent Acquisition Partner** to help scale our team across engineering, product, operations, and business functions, while partnering closely with our broader recruiting team on hiring across the organization. You’ll own full-cycle hiring for a range of functions, and help build teams as Tavus continues to grow. This is a high-impact role that will partner closely with hiring managers and leadership to understand and anticipate evolving talent needs, shape hiring plans, and bring exceptional people to our team. This role will require someone who has a proven track record of building strong teams across areas of ownership, while stepping in across functions as hiring needs quickly evolve. We’re looking for someone who thrives in early-stage chaos, loves building systems and processes, and can balance hands-on recruiting with thoughtful partnership and planning. You’ll own full cycle recruiting: sourcing, building talent networks, candidate management, closing, and hiring-manager partnership, while helping us build the recruiting foundation we need for the next stage of Tavus. ## **What We’re Looking For** - 4+ years of experience, ideally in-house experience as first recruiter at an early-stage startup - You’re a builder: you’ve created recruiting systems/processes from scratch or significantly improved existing ones, and leverage AI. Expect to balance many roles at once. - Exceptional communication and candidate experience instincts - Highly organized, self-directed, and comfortable working in ambiguity - Passion for AI and the opportunity to shape a team working at the edge of what’s possible - Demonstrated ability to operate in high-performance, high-expectation environments - Polish — strong communication, attention to detail, and professional judgment - You can quickly understand complex problems and structure solutions ## **Bonus if you have:** - Experience as a founder, or startup building experience - Experience hiring for non-technical roles (G&A, GTM) - Experience building out roles/processes in Ashby - Played Portal 1 and 2 - or willing to as part of onboarding 😄 ## **Benefits** When you join Tavus, you’re joining a family. Our work is driven by our team, and our success is shared by all. This position has a flexible work schedule, unlimited PTO, competitive healthcare and gear stipends, as well as, of course, plenty of fun! At the end of the day, we want Tavus to be a place for you to learn, directly drive impact, and be with a team you love. *To learn more about our team culture, and benefits, check out* [*our hiring page!*](https://www.tavus.io/careers) Tavus is growing fast, and we’d like you to grow with us! In fact, diversity is what drives our success – it’s at the core of how we hire, communicate, and work. We are inclusive to all and combine our diverse backgrounds, skill sets, and thinking to build the best experiences for our clients.
