Talent Acquisition Specialist

Job description

**About Perry Weather** Perry Weather is the weather safety standard for organizations that operate outdoors. We combine on-site weather hardware with a software platform that automates alerts, siren activations, and safety decisions for more than 3,000 organizations — from the PGA of America, the NFL, and MLB to Turner Construction, thousands of school districts, cities, and golf courses. We've grown 80%+ annually for five consecutive years, and are continuing to grow. We're headquartered in Dallas at The Centrum, in the Oak Lawn neighborhood, where our teams work together every day to help organizations make faster and safer decisions when weather puts people, assets, and operations at risk. **About the Role** Perry Weather is looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our People team and help scale the recruiting function during a period of rapid growth. You'll partner closely with hiring managers, leadership, and the rest of the recruiting team to identify and hire the people who will define the next stage of the company. This role will have a direct impact on our ability to scale our technology, expand our customer base, and deliver on our mission of helping organizations achieve zero weather-related incidents while keeping operations running smoothly. We're looking for someone who is passionate about full life-cycle recruiting and thrives on execution - sourcing exceptional talent, running a great candidate experience, and closing great hires across multiple departments. **Why This Role Matters** Perry Weather is growing quickly, and hiring great people is one of the biggest levers we have to keep that growth going. Every hire you help bring on board directly shapes our ability to scale our technology, expand our customer base, and deliver on our mission - which makes this role integral to the company's success, not just a support function behind it. You'll have a direct hand in building the team that gets us to our next stage of growth. **Responsibilities** - Full-Cycle Recruitment: Own the entire recruitment process, from sourcing and screening to interviewing and onboarding, for roles across multiple departments, including Product, Engineering, and GTM teams. - Talent Pipeline: Build and maintain a robust pipeline of candidates for current and future hiring needs, leveraging various sourcing channels, including social media, job boards, and networking events. - Partner with Hiring Managers: Work closely with hiring managers to understand specific needs, provide guidance on job descriptions, and ensure a smooth recruitment process. - Candidate Experience: Serve as a primary point of contact for candidates throughout the hiring process, ensuring timely communication and a positive experience from first touch through offer. - Employer Branding: Partner with People Ops and Marketing to promote Perry Weather's employer brand to attract high-quality candidates, highlighting our mission, values, and unique workplace culture. **Requirements** - 4+ years of experience in recruiting, ideally with experience hiring for technical roles - Strong full-cycle recruiting execution, with solid sourcing skills and familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS). - Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. - Understanding of the SaaS industry, with the ability to quickly grasp technical roles and requirements. - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with changing priorities, and comfort flexing across departments as hiring needs shift. **Benefits** - **You'll want to come into the office.** Our Oak Lawn office isn't just a place to sit — it's where ideas move fast and culture stays strong. The whole team is here Monday through Friday, which means real collaboration, no chasing people down over Slack, and a genuinely fun place to spend your work days. - **Your wellbeing is covered.** Competitive health insurance, 401(k) with employer matching, and a full suite of voluntary benefits, because you shouldn't have to think twice about the basics. - **Good people, good times.** Monthly All-Hands, Office Olympics, happy hours, and more. We take the work seriously and the culture seriously too. - **You're getting in early, and that matters.** We're growing fast, but the biggest opportunities are still ahead. The people joining now will help shape what Perry Weather becomes.
