Understands dealership operations, including new and used vehicle sales, parts, service, F&I, manufacturer incentives, and real estate-related entities. Oversees tax research projects and manages tax accounting projects within deadlines. Manages client relationships and serves as a key point of contact for day-to-day tax and accounting questions. Reviews, trains, and mentors Senior Associates and Associates. Provides feedback to Senior Managers and Principals.Supports business development and growth efforts within the dealership industry. Utilizes cloud-based technology and other tax software. - 7+ years of tax accounting managing staff
- Licensed CPA or CMA license prefer
- Understanding of Federal and State tax laws and regulations
- Prior experience serving automotive dealerships or inventory-intensive businesses preferred.
- Knowledge of dealership tax matters, including LIFO, fixed assets, floor plan financing, related-party entities, and ownership planning preferred.
