Hiring Unit: Department of Biochemistry Course Title: Advanced Strategies in Genetics & Genomics Course Code: BIOC 600 Estimated Number of Positions: 2 Total Hours of Work per Term: 27 Name of the Course Coordinator: Prof. Thomas Duchaine Position Summary: IMPORTANT: To be eligible for an appointment as a Teaching Assistant for Winter 2027 term, applicants must be enrolled in a McGill graduate program in Winter 2027 term. Be present at lectures OR run hands-on, in lab demonstrations. Be available to answer e-mail inquiries or direct questions. Hours flexible. Invigilate exam viewing sessions. Qualifications: Candidates must be enrolled in a graduate program within the Department of Biochemistry, or in another graduate program at McGill University, for the Winter 2027 term. At least one-year experience in the graduate program with demonstrated experience in Bioinformatics. Effective communication skills in English are essential. French is an asset.
