The Sizewell C Jobs Service supports local people into exciting, long-term careers across our Project.#SZCJobs Technical Clerk (Sizewell C) CWA Sizewell C The Technical Clerk will provide essential administrative and technical support to the project and engineering teams working on the Sizewell C nuclear project. The role ensures accurate document control, efficient data management, and smooth coordination between stakeholders, contributing to the safe and compliant delivery of a major nuclear infrastructure project. Principal Accountabilities, Activities and Decisions Document Control & Administration • Manage and maintain project documentation in line with project procedures and nuclear industry standards • Register, track, and distribute technical documents (drawings, reports, specifications, RFIs, etc.) • Ensure version control, document accuracy, and compliance with audit requirements • Maintain document management systems (e.g. aSite, SharePoint) Technical Support • Assist engineers and project managers with preparation, formatting, and filing of technical submissions • Support the production of weekly/monthly reports and technical records • Maintain registers (e.g. drawing registers, submittals, NCRs, TQs) Coordination & Communication • Liaise with internal teams, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure timely document exchange • Coordinate administrative aspects of meetings (agendas, minutes, action tracking) • Support onboarding documentation and compliance tracking for site/project personnel Data Management & Compliance • Ensure data is recorded accurately and stored in accordance with project and regulatory requirements • Support audits by retrieving and organising required documentation • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to nuclear safety and quality standards Qualifications • Experience in an administrative or document control role within engineering, construction, or infrastructure projects • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Teams, SharePoint) • Ability to manage large volumes of data/documentation • Strong communication and coordination skills Desirable • Experience working on major infrastructure or nuclear/energy projects • Familiarity with document management systems (e.g. Aconex, Asite, Viewpoint) • Understanding of quality assurance and compliance processes (ISO standards, audit environments) • Knowledge of engineering drawings and technical documentation Personal Attributes • Methodical and detail-oriented • Proactive and able to work independently • Strong team player with a collaborative mindset • Able to work under pressure and manage competing priorities Working Environment • Based at the Avonmouth Hub near Bristol, supporting a nationally significant nuclear project • Office-based role with regular interaction across multidisciplinary teams • May require occasional travel or engagement with external stakeholders • Certifications in process improvement (e.g., Six Sigma/ Lean Six Sigma Black Belt) are highly desirable.
