As a Solar Technical Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting the design, planning, procurement, construction, and commissioning of large-scale solar PV projects across Ireland. Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline.2–5 years of engineering experience in solar PV or renewable energy projects; EPC experience is a strong advantage.Strong understanding of solar PV system components (modules, inverters, transformers, cabling, SCADA).Familiarity with relevant Irish/EU regulations (ET103, IEC standards, ESB Networks connection requirements).Proficiency with AutoCAD, PVsyst, and Microsoft Office Suite.Excellent communication and technical reporting skills.Willingness to travel to project sites across Ireland.Full Irish (EU) driving license required. Preferred: Experience with MV/HV grid connections and protection studies.Knowledge of BESS integration and hybrid energy systems.Chartered Engineer status or working toward professional accreditation (Engineers Ireland).
