Technical Office Manager - Structural and Steel Works (Expression of Interest)

We are inviting experienced **Technical Office Managers** to register their interest for future opportunities across major structural construction projects in the Middle East and the UAE. The projects are expected to include large-scale structural developments requiring experienced engineering leaders to oversee technical office operations, engineering coordination, planning, methods, and construction support throughout the project lifecycle. ### Your Contribution ### Technical Office Leadership • Lead and manage the Technical Office, providing direction to engineering, methods, and planning teams throughout project delivery • Coordinate technical office activities to ensure engineering deliverables support project objectives, construction schedules, and execution requirements • Allocate resources, establish priorities, and monitor the performance of technical office teams ### Engineering Coordination & Technical Management • Oversee the preparation, review, and approval of shop drawings, technical submittals, engineering documentation, and construction deliverables • Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering activities to ensure technical consistency and compliance with project requirements • Support the resolution of complex engineering challenges through practical and buildable technical solutions ### Planning & Methods Integration • Coordinate closely with Methods Engineers and Planning Engineers to ensure construction methodologies, sequencing, and project schedules remain fully aligned • Support the implementation of engineering solutions that facilitate safe and efficient project execution • Monitor engineering deliverables to ensure timely support for construction activities ### Construction Support • Act as the primary technical interface between the Technical Office and Construction Management teams • Ensure construction teams receive approved engineering information, coordinated drawings, and technical support required for site execution • Facilitate communication between engineering disciplines and project stakeholders to maintain project continuity ### Your Profile ### Education • Master's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline ### Experience • Minimum 10 years of experience leading Technical Office teams within contractor organizations • Between 60% and 70% of your professional experience gained within main contractor organizations • Proven technical management experience on projects within the United Arab Emirates and/or the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia ### Technical Expertise • Experience managing technical office functions for major structural construction projects involving reinforced concrete structures, structural steel works, complex building frameworks, and other large-scale structural construction activities • Strong understanding of shop drawings, technical submittals, engineering coordination, construction methodologies, and project planning • Experience coordinating multidisciplinary engineering teams throughout the design and construction process • Familiarity with Primavera (P6) and MS Project within project planning environments ### Skills & Working Style • Strong leadership and people management skills • Excellent technical coordination and problem-solving abilities • Strong organizational and communication skills • Ability to manage multiple engineering disciplines within complex construction environments ### What to Expect This is an **Expression of Interest (EOI)** for future project opportunities and does not represent an immediate vacancy.
