Job description
**This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Technical Recruiter (6-month Contract) based in United States.** This is a high-autonomy technical recruiting opportunity supporting a major Product and Technology hiring initiative within a fast-growing healthcare technology environment. You will own full-cycle recruiting across Engineering, Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (AI/ML), Data, and Product, managing a diverse portfolio of technical roles from mid-level through executive seniority. The role requires strong technical fluency, enabling you to assess programming languages, frameworks, architecture, cloud infrastructure, and AI/ML technologies with credibility. You will partner directly with engineering and product leaders to define hiring strategies, challenge assumptions, and deliver targeted talent pipelines for difficult-to-fill positions. With immediate ownership of 8–12+ concurrent requisitions, you will operate independently using Greenhouse and LinkedIn Recruiter as core day-one tools. You will help create efficient, structured hiring processes while providing senior candidates with a thoughtful and high-touch experience throughout the recruitment journey. This six-month contract offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact while working alongside highly skilled teams developing technology in a mission-driven healthcare environment. ### Accountabilities - Own full-cycle recruiting for 8–12+ concurrent requisitions across Engineering, including backend, frontend, mobile, infrastructure, DevOps, and Quality Assurance, as well as AI/ML, Data, and Product. - Manage searches across multiple seniority levels, from mid-level individual contributors through Staff, Principal, Director, and executive-level positions. - Partner directly with engineering and product leaders to define role scope, success profiles, hiring priorities, and realistic recruitment timelines. - Develop and execute proactive sourcing strategies for niche and hard-to-fill technical positions using LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, technical communities, referrals, Boolean search, and X-ray search. - Conduct meaningful technical screening conversations that assess candidates’ depth across programming languages, frameworks, system architecture, cloud infrastructure, and AI/ML technologies. - Evaluate technical profiles across technologies such as Python, Go, Java, TypeScript, JavaScript, React, Swift, Kotlin, cloud infrastructure, and AI/ML tooling. - Manage the full requisition lifecycle in Greenhouse, including requisition setup, intake, pipeline management, interview kits, scorecards, reporting, workflow configuration, and troubleshooting. - Maintain strong pipeline hygiene and ensure recruiting activity and candidate information remain accurate and up to date. - Design and facilitate structured interview processes and debriefs that support efficient, consistent, and well-informed hiring decisions. - Partner with the People team on offer strategy, compensation discussions, and negotiations. - Deliver a polished, responsive, and high-touch candidate experience, particularly for senior and executive-level technical candidates. - Proactively identify pipeline risks, market conditions, hiring challenges, and process bottlenecks and communicate them to relevant stakeholders before they impact delivery. - Provide informed market insights on technical talent availability, compensation expectations, and recruiting dynamics across North American markets. - Continuously evaluate and improve sourcing approaches, recruiting workflows, interview processes, and overall hiring efficiency. **Requirements** - You have 6+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience, with direct ownership of Engineering, AI/ML, and Product hiring in high-growth and fast-moving environments. - You have demonstrated experience independently managing 8–12+ concurrent technical requisitions across multiple functions, seniority levels, and geographies. - You possess strong technical fluency and can confidently discuss programming languages, frameworks, system architecture, cloud infrastructure, and AI/ML technology with candidates and hiring managers. - You have practical knowledge of technologies such as Python, Java, Go, TypeScript, JavaScript, React, Swift, Kotlin, cloud infrastructure, and AI/ML stacks sufficient to source, screen, and advise effectively. - You have hands-on expertise with Greenhouse Applicant Tracking System (ATS), including requisition setup, pipeline management, scorecards, reporting, and workflow configuration. - You have advanced experience with LinkedIn Recruiter, including sourcing, InMail strategy, and talent-pool management. - Experience recruiting within healthcare, life sciences, medical technology, or another regulated or high-compliance technical industry is strongly preferred. - You have experience supporting multi-country or multi-market hiring and understand North American technical talent markets and compensation practices. - You have a proven ability to build sourcing strategies from scratch for senior, specialized, and difficult-to-fill technical roles. - You are an effective stakeholder manager who can quickly establish credibility with engineering and product leaders and constructively challenge unrealistic requirements, scope, or timelines. - You demonstrate excellent judgment, organization, prioritization, and attention to detail while managing your workload and calendar with minimal oversight. - You are self-directed and outcomes-focused, with the ability to diagnose recruiting challenges, recommend practical solutions, and execute independently. - You are comfortable working with Slack and Google Workspace alongside recruiting and collaboration platforms. - You must be legally authorized to work in Canada at the time of hire and must not require employer sponsorship for a work visa, either currently or in the future. - You are comfortable working remotely across North America, with preference for candidates located in Central (CDT) or Pacific (PT) time zones to support team collaboration. **Benefits** - Six-month contract with potential for extension depending on hiring needs. - Fully remote work arrangement for eligible candidates across North America. - Hourly compensation of $62–$67 in local currency, depending on experience and geographic location. - Opportunity to contribute to technology designed to support proactive healthcare and improve people’s lives. -
