Job description
**Build a safer world with us, one incident at a time.**
is the category creator and leader in Agentic Physical Security. Powered by Ambient Pulsar, the first reasoning Vision-Language Model purpose-built for physical security, our platform seamlessly integrates with existing security cameras and physical access control systems to unify monitoring, access control, threat assessment, response, and investigations through an always-on reasoning layer that augments security operators with superhuman capabilities. The results: 95% fewer false alarms, investigations 20x faster, and 10x faster response.
The momentum speaks for itself: we doubled new ARR in FY26, and have delivered results for world-class customers including Cisco, ServiceNow, SentinelOne, TikTok, Bayer, and MoMA. That kind of momentum creates an environment where great people thrive, and it shows: we recently ranked #71 out of 500 on the [Forbes best startup employers list](https://www.forbes.com/lists/americas-best-startup-employers/).
Founded in 2017 and backed by Andreessen Horowitz, Y Combinator, and Allegion Ventures, is on a fast-paced journey to fulfill our mission: prevent every security incident possible.

**About the Role:**
As a Technical Recruiter, you will partner with our Engineering, Product, and Design (EPD) team to bring extraordinary technical talent to [](http://Ambient.ai). You will be a unifier, a culture ambassador, and a trusted partner to your hiring teams and candidates. As a Talent team member, you’ll have a profound impact as we grow the organization.
**What You'll Do:**
- Partner strategically with Engineering teams to define talent needs, hiring plans, and sourcing strategies
- Own full-cycle recruiting from initial sourcing and screening through candidate closing
- Integrate AI-powered sourcing platforms (e.g., Juicebox) and workflows to accelerate candidate research, outreach, and insights
- Build domain knowledge across software engineering disciplines to effectively assess technical talent
- Deliver exceptional candidate experiences while navigating equity conversations and startup growth dynamics
- Track recruiting metrics, funnel performance, and market intelligence to guide hiring decisions
**What You'll Bring:**
- **Technical recruiting track record:** 3+ years of technical recruiting experience, with a proven track record of sourcing, engaging, and hiring top-tier engineering talent
- **AI fluency:** Hands-on experience using AI-powered sourcing platforms (Juicebox, SeekOut, or equivalent) and AI assistants (ChatGPT, Claude, etc.) to draft outreach, summarize candidate profiles, conduct market research, and streamline recruiting workflows
- **Full-cycle ownership:** A successful track record sourcing and closing technical roles from entry-level to director across a range of engineering disciplines
- **Candidate experience:** The ability to build genuine, positive relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and business partners across cultures and time zones
- **Recruiting stack expertise:** Experience with Ashby, Juicebox, LinkedIn Recruiter, Metaview and curated platforms such as AngelList — and an eagerness to evaluate and adopt new tools
- **JD & interview design:** Ability to craft compelling job descriptions and structured interview guides in partnership with hiring managers
- **Equity fluency:** A strong understanding of equity for venture-backed companies, with the ability to articulate its value clearly to candidates
- **Startup DNA:** Previous experience at a startup or high-growth environment; you thrive with ambiguity and can take charge without a playbook
- **Data-driven mindset:** Highly organized, metrics-focused, and comfortable building and presenting recruiting dashboards and pipeline reports
- **Communication excellence:** Phenomenal written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to engage respectfully and effectively with candidates from many different countries and backgrounds
- **Influence & partnership:** Proven ability to advise and push back on hiring managers, shape stakeholder decisions, and drive alignment across cross-functional teams
