Technical Sales Specialist - Motors and Drives (fixed-term 2-year)

This position reports to: Sales Team Leader __ Our Motors and Drives business provides electric motors, generators, frequency converters, drives and related service solutions. We are currently looking for a Sales Specialist to join our team on a fixed-term 2-year contract, who wants to play an active role in building customer relationships and developing new business opportunities. In this role, you will go beyond simply selling products: you will understand your customers' business challenges, identify relevant solutions and work together with ABB experts to develop offers that provide real solutions. As a Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for developing your customer portfolio and contributing to the achievement of sales targets. You will build and continuously develop long-term customer relationships, identify new business opportunities and sell ABB products, solutions and services. You will work closely with technical, service, finance and other expert teams, while gaining deeper insight into the world of drives and industrial technologies. You will be mainly accountable for: Developing and implementing account plans and sales actions for your assigned customer portfolio Understanding customers' businesses, challenges and future plans and identifying new business opportunities based on these insights Selling ABB products, solutions and service offerings while focusing on revenue, volume and profitability targets Building and continuously developing long-term, trusted customer relationships Following up on sales opportunities, projects and quotations and coordinating customer requirements Supporting the development of sales strategies and targets and regularly following up on their achievement Monitoring competitors and market trends and sharing relevant market and pricing information Working closely with technical, service, finance and other internal teams, as well as ABB's international organization Using professional sales processes and digital tools, including Salesforce, to manage your customer activities Qualifications for the role: You have 1–3 years of experience in sales or customer relationship management within a technical environment and are looking to further develop your career in B2B sales You hold a university degree in a technical field, such as electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or technical management You are interested in technical solutions and industrial technologies and motivated to deepen your knowledge in these areas You are a confident communicator who enjoys building relationships and working with customers You have a business-oriented mindset and are able to turn customer needs into business opportunities You have strong negotiation, problem-solving and organizational skills You are proactive and able to organize your work independently, while enjoying collaboration with experts across different functions You are confident using MS Office and open to learning new digital tools and systems You have fluent Hungarian and good command of English, both written and spoken It is a plus if you have: A degree in electrical engineering Experience selling industrial, drives or electrical products and solutions Experience with Salesforce or another CRM system Experience working in an international environment What's in it for you?
