Job description
Your mission As ANAVIA continues its rapid growth, we are seeking a skilled Technical Writer who is eager to contribute to the future of unmanned aviation and take on the following key responsibilities: Technical Documentation Creatio n: Develop and maintain high-quality technical documents, including user manuals, maintenance guides, operational procedures, system specifications for unmanned helicopter systems and supplement the documents with CAD generated detail views. Document Review and Editing: Conduct thorough reviews and edits of technical documents to ensure clarity, accuracy, and compliance with industry standards. Collaboration with Teams: Work closely with engineering, quality assurance, and production teams to gather necessary information and ensure documentation aligns with system capabilities and requirements. Documentation Management: Organize and maintain a structured repository of technical documents, ensuring proper version control and accessibility for stakeholders. Compliance Assurance: Ensure all technical documentation meets relevant regulatory and industry standards, including aviation regulations. Training and Support Materials: Create training materials and assist in developing training programs for internal teams and end-users, focusing on operational and maintenance procedures. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on best practices in technical writing and documentation management, recommending improvements to enhance processes and efficiency. Your profile Education: Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Aviation, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field. Relevant certifications or formal training in technical writing, technical documentation, or documentation management are a plus. Experience: Proven professional experience in technical writing, technical documentation, or technical publications, within the aerospace, aviation, or UAV industry. Experience with manned aviation and the development and maintenance of aviation technical publications is highly preferred. Hands-on experience creating, reviewing, and maintaining technical documentation and publications, including operating and maintenance manuals, installation and service documentation, procedures, work instructions, and other engineering-related documentation. Skills: Strong technical understanding and the ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, system descriptions, and other technical source material and translate complex technical information into clear, accurate, and user-oriented documentation. Communication: Excellent writing, editing, proofreading, and information-structuring skills, with a strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to communicate complex technical information clearly and consistently to different target audiences. Languages: Proficiency in English. German desirable.
