REQ15019 Technician, Entertainment Technology (Open) POSITION SUMMARY: The Technician, Entertainment Technology provides high-quality standards and technical support within the Entertainment Department, ensuring the effective and economic operations in accordance to the Company’s policies and procedures. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Ensures day to day technical operation of all Entertainment Venues in City of Dreams Mediterranean Carries out assigned daily operational tasks, liaises with the Entertainment Events team and Resort Engineers team to ensure all systems relevant to show performances are functional, maintaining a high standard of Technical services across all venues Organizes, carries out and completes all maintenance requests on time Given the complexity and the risk related with the equipment under the responsibility of the department, ensures that all technical operation and procedures are safe Handles all “AVL” related system setup, standby and dismantling of Events Coordinates with Housekeeping/Environmental Services department for any follow up cleaning jobs required after completion of each job Ensures all tools and equipment are regularly inspected for their correct functions and safe for operational uses Ensures the tidiness and cleanliness of the working bench, workshop areas and storage areas so that a safe and decent work place is maintained Follows up all deficiencies noted during regular inspection and take ownership to carry out necessary works and reports to his/her superiors at first instant for any breakdown that will affect operations Personally, supervises all hazardous work and ensures all safety regulations are being strictly observed by all employees Maintains good relationship with Contractors in order to get the best service possible Assists in operation of appointed attractions and related tasks Adheres to all company policies and procedures Reports accidents, injuries and unsafe work conditions to superiors and relevant departments Performs other reasonable job duties as assigned by superiors from time to time QUALIFICATIONS: Experience A minimum of two (2) years of pertinent experience in relation to the position with a minimum of one (1) year experience in Casino/Hotel/Entertainment industry on show operations Education Secondary school certificate in Electrical, Building Services, Mechanical or other rated discipline, or equivalent professional training is preferred Candidates without any trade certificates but with solid experience will also be considered Skills Ability to operate, troubleshoot and maintain Audio, Lighting and Video equipment Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills Possesses strong organizational and time management skills Excellent command of Greek and English are highly preferred Good knowledge of basic computer use (MS Office) is highly preferred Hand-on and possess good problem-solving skills and attending to details Independent and able to work with minimal supervision Frequently/Occasional ascending or descending ladders and/or ramps and ability to work in high rise site Requirements: Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Ability to work on flexible shifts including overnight, weekends and holiday on rotation basis Ability to work on overtime when needed Good health, physically fit and excellence in personal grooming and presentation PERSONAL COMPETENCIES: Achieves agreed objectives and accepts accountability for results Displays a high commitment to delivering results Communicates effectively Displays the highest level of integrity Ability to maintain discretion Self-motivated Approachable Ability to lead
