Als Technischer Assistent (m/w/d) im Zuchtbetrieb der Schwarzen Soldatenfliege (BSF) unterstützt Du unser Team bei der Durchführung, Überwachung und kontinuierlichen Weiterentwicklung unserer biologischen und technischen Produktionsprozesse.
Mit Deinem Verantwortungsbewusstsein im Umgang mit lebenden Organismen, Deiner praktischen Arbeitsweise und Deinem Verständnis für biologische Zusammenhänge trägst Du maßgeblich dazu bei, einen stabilen, effizienten und nachhaltigen Zuchtbetrieb sicherzustellen.

Unterstützung bei der Durchführung, Überwachung und Optimierung biologischer und technischer Prozesse im Zuchtbetrieb
Betreuung und Versorgung der Zuchtpopulationen unter Berücksichtigung biologischer Anforderungen
Mitarbeit bei Verpackung, Logistik und Versandvorbereitung einschließlich Kennzeichnung und Dokumentation
Reinigung, Wartung und Desinfektion von Produktionsanlagen sowie Erfassung relevanter Prozessdaten
Bedienung, Pflege und Kontrolle von Maschinen, Geräten und Produktionssystemen
Durchführung und Dokumentation von Qualitätskontrollen
Unterstützung bei Fehleranalysen sowie der kontinuierlichen Verbesserung von Produktionsabläufen
Einhaltung und Umsetzung von Qualitäts-, Hygiene- und Sicherheitsstandards
Mitwirkung bei der Einführung neuer Verfahren und Optimierung bestehender Prozesse
Abgeschlossene Ausbildung oder Studium im Bereich Landwirtschaft, Biologie, Entomologie, Tierpflege, Agrarwissenschaften, Lebensmitteltechnik oder einer vergleichbaren naturwissenschaftlichen bzw. technischen Fachrichtung
Alternativ eine abgeschlossene Ausbildung als Landwirt, Tierpfleger, Biologisch-Technische Assistent oder eine vergleichbare praktische Qualifikation
Praktische Erfahrung in der landwirtschaftlichen Produktion, Tierhaltung oder biologischen Zucht von Vorteil
Verantwortungsbewusster und sorgfältiger Umgang mit lebenden Organismen sowie Verständnis für biologische Prozesse
Ausgeprägte Hands-on-Mentalität und Freude an praktischer Arbeit in einer Produktionsumgebung
Bereitschaft zur Arbeit nach definierten Qualitäts-, Hygiene- und Sicherheitsstandards
Körperliche Belastbarkeit für eine praktische Tätigkeit sowie sicherer Umgang mit MS Office und digitaler Dokumentation
Teamfähigkeit, Eigeninitiative und Flexibilität; Staplerführerschein sowie Englischkenntnisse sind von Vorteil

As a Technical Assistant (m/f/d) in the breeding operation of the Black Soldier Fly (BSF), you support our team in the execution, monitoring, and continuous development of our biological and technical production processes.
With your sense of responsibility in handling living organisms, your practical approach, and your understanding of biological relationships, you significantly contribute to ensuring a stable, efficient, and sustainable breeding operation.

Support in the execution, monitoring, and optimization of biological and technical processes in the breeding operation
Care and supply of breeding populations considering biological requirements
Assistance in packaging, logistics, and shipping preparation including labeling and documentation
Cleaning, maintenance, and disinfection of production facilities as well as recording relevant process data
Operation, maintenance, and control of machinery, equipment, and production systems
Execution and documentation of quality controls
Support in error analysis and continuous improvement of production processes
Compliance with and implementation of quality, hygiene, and safety standards
Participation in the introduction of new procedures and optimization of existing processes
Completed training or studies in the field of agriculture, biology, entomology, animal care, agricultural sciences, food technology, or a comparable natural science or technical discipline
Alternatively, completed training as a farmer, animal caretaker, biological-technical assistant, or a comparable practical qualification
Practical experience in agricultural production, animal husbandry, or biological breeding advantageous
Responsible and careful handling of living organisms as well as understanding of biological processes
Strong hands-on mentality and enjoyment of practical work in a production environment
Willingness to work according to defined quality, hygiene, and safety standards
Physical resilience as well as basic knowledge of MS Office and documentation
Team spirit, initiative, and flexibility; forklift license and knowledge of English are advantageous
