Job Description Responsibilities: Strategy/Stakeholder Engagement Provide guidance and support to the business unit(s) on group policies and procedures and compliance monitoring activities and initiatives. Liaise and interact with external stakeholders (e.g., auditors or regulators) on regulatory compliance matters. Compliance Oversight/Monitoring Implement risk-based compliance monitoring and testing program for licensed REIT Managers and proactively identify current regulatory gaps / compliance weaknesses and propose rectification measures. Monitor regulatory developments, support assessment of the implications and implementation of new or changes in regulations and compliance policies, as required to address, manage and mitigate of such changes, in a practical and effective manner. Oversee the administration and operation of existing compliance policies and procedures and development, implementation, review and revision of compliance related policies and procedures. Participate in ad hoc assignments and projects as required. Training/Knowledge Sharing Conduct compliance-related training to relevant employees to raise awareness and promote a strong culture of compliance. Stay up to date with industry trends and regulatory changes. Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business or related discipline At least 5 years of relevant working experience in compliance roles in asset management or other financial services organisations.
