Our capability centers combine deep technical expertise, proven delivery methodologies, and sector-specific knowledge to address complex business challenges quickly and effectively.* We're on the lookout for a **Test Automation Engineer with Android automation experience** to join our team working on a social news aggregation platform. ## **What you'll do** - Create and maintain automated test cases, execute test suites, review and diagnose reported bugs, and ensures overall system quality prior to a production release. - Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot automated suites of tests through continuous integration for value added feedback. - Maintain test infrastructure stability in non-production environments. - Participate in troubleshooting and triaging of issues with different teams to drive towards root cause identification and resolution. - Work closely with software developers to create software artifacts including test plans, test cases, test procedures and test reports. - Work across functional areas with internal partner engineering teams in a disciplined agile environment. - Estimate own testing tasks and works productively with minimum supervision while showing excellent team attitude. - Influence the entire engineering organization on unit/integration/end-to-end tests. ## What you bring - 4+ years of experience in building automation frameworks for mobile/web applications particularly social media or related app. - High proficiency in testing methodology, SDLC methodology, test documentation procedures, and QA Best Practices. - Independently chalk out test plans based on requirements. - Strong communication skills. - Ability to identify area of impact in the app based on the requirements to do adhoc and exploratory testing. - Comfortable with iOS and Android testing environments. - Ability to work in a fast-paced development environment. - Creative problem-solving skills. - Experience testing Agile/Scrum SDLC, and skill using tools such as JIRA and Confluence to manage the lifecycle. ## Nice to have - At least 3 years of Experience in testing applications across platforms iOS, Android, Web and Mobile Web. - Experience with API testing. - Experience working in a fast-paced work environment where prod releases happen every week. ## Tech Stack - Mobile testing general concepts - Programming language: Kotlin - Test frameworks: UIAutomator, Espresso - IDE: Android Studio - Cloud testing: BrowserStack - Agile methodologies (SCRUM) - Test Case Management tools. - CI/CD: Bitrise - GIT - Jira - Desirable: scripting skills Please, make sure you attached your resume or cover letter in **English.** **When you join Solvd, you'll…** - Shape real-world AI-driven projects across key industries, working with clients from startup innovation to enterprise transformation. - Be part of a global team with equal opportunities for collaboration across continents and cultures. - Thrive in an inclusive environment that prioritizes continuous learning, innovation, and ethical AI standards. **Ready to make an impact?** If you're excited to build things that matter, champion responsible AI, and grow with some of the industry’s sharpest minds.
