Test Engineer

**Position Overview:** The Software Test Engineer is responsible for the testing and validation of the IRT systems. Working closely with the Lead Test Engineer, Testing Engineer - Senior and Project team, they are responsible for delivering a high quality system to the client. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience designing, implementing, and maintaining automated test frameworks for complex web applications. Experience in the pharmaceutical or clinical domain is a significant advantage. Familiarity with Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) methodologies is highly desirable. ### Responsibilities - Responsible for testing through the entire lifecycle of a project, including test case development, execution and verification. - Tracking and reporting software defects, along with verifying resolved issues in ticket tracking application. - Support validation efforts by acquiring evidence during testing phase, as well as generating validation reports at cycle end. - Proactively works to understand the major components of the product through training and client assignments. - Strong in database queries, Stored Procedures and View testing - Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright for web applications. - Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to define quality requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage. - Contribute to continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to enable automatic test execution. - Utilizes in-depth product knowledge to anticipate client needs and address complex issues. - Provides guidance and sets priorities for the Test Engineer on project. - Displays commitment to excellence. ### Required skill - Must have experience in **IRT/RTSM domain** - Hands on experience in **software testing concepts** (manual & automation) - Familiarity with any programming language such as **Java or C#** is a plus - Working experience of **web applications** and how they work - Hands-on experience of testing tools like **Selenium, Playwright, Postman, or JMeter** (good to have) - Good knowledge of **SQL** and databases - Self-motivated, curious, and proactive attitude ### Experience 2-6 years’ experience working in software testing/ Quality Assurance ### Education Completed graduation in **Computer Science / Engineering or related field**
