Work Site Address: ​27130 Telegraph Road ​Quantico, VA 22134-2253 Desired Qualifications For Threat Manager - Mid Level | Insider Threat Management and Analysis [DITMAC0010009] (DITMAC0010009) Candidates: Possess a minimum of six (6) years of experience in threat assessment and/or threat management. A demonstrated understanding of the DoD population through work experience directly supporting the military or DoD population. Experience providing support and expertise to a local, state or federal threat management unit or team focused upon assessing and managing the risk of violent behavior. A minimum of three (3) years of demonstrated experience with providing military or civilian leaders with threat assessment and threat management advice and counsel, and presenting those findings in both written and verbal formats. Experience with the Intelligence and/or Law Enforcement communities, Government, DoD and commercial databases used to compile analytic products, and the ability to incorporate resulting analysis into threat assessment briefs. Demonstrated experience using Structured Professional Judgement (SPJ) Tools to support threat assessment and management, such as Workplace Assessment of Violence Risk (WAVR)-21 and Trap 18. Education / Experience Requirements / Qualifications Possess a minimum of five (5) years of compensated professional experience in the field of threat assessment and management (TAM); OR, two (2) years of membership in good standing in ATAP as defined in the Association Bylaws, and 2 years of compensated professional experience, which may be concurrent. Possess a certification as a Threat Assessment Professional administered by the Association of Threat Assessment Professionals (ATAP),and must be an active ATAP member.
