Receive $750 after 90 days and $750 after 180 days for staying and growing with our team. Shift: 3rd (10:45pm–7:15am) Our 3rd shift Tool & Die Makers keep the plant running smoothly overnight. If you like independence, solving complex tooling issues, and staying hands on with precision machining, this is your shift. Position Tool & Die Maker - 3rd Shift - $1,500 Sign-On Retention Bonus! Location USA, LaFayette, GA How You'll Create Possibilities What You’ll Do Lead die troubleshooting and repair during overnight production Maintain, inspect, and rebuild stamping dies and tooling Perform surface grinding, manual machining, CNC work, and EDM operations Fit, adjust, and align die components to tight tolerances Conduct test runs to validate die performance Document all PMs and repair activities Partner with production to keep presses running efficiently What You'll Bring to Our Team What You Bring Minimum 2 years Tool & Die experience Experience with stamping dies (progressive/transfer preferred) Strong blueprint reading & die design interpretation Manual machining + CNC proficiency Ability to make independent tooling decisions Bonus: SolidWorks/CAD, CNC programming, Tool & Die apprenticeship Also looking for the following capabilities / qualifications in addition to tooling Set up and operate Wire EDM machines to cut precision parts according to engineering drawings and specifications Program or edit programs using machine controls or CAM software as needed 2+ years of Wire EDM machining experience in a manufacturing or tool & die environment Experience with precision machining and tight tolerances Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T Familiarity with CAM programming or EDM machine controls is a plus Why You’ll Love 3rd Shift Competitive wage + shift premium Medical, dental, vision, 401(k) Day 1 PTO, bonus programs, and tuition reimbursement Long‑term career growth Employee appliance discounts Our Culture Our work is centered on our People and Culture as reflected in our Zero Distance philosophy and we recognize the importance of reaffirming our commitment to inclusion and diversity (I&D).This underscores our commitment to fostering an environment where every individual feels valued, connected, and empowered to contribute, while positioning our organization to adapt seamlessly to the evolving needs of our workforce and communities.
