Shift: 1st (6:30am–3:00pm) Shift: 2nd (2:45pm–11:15pm) Shift: 3rd (10:45pm–7:15am) Join a team that values your craftsmanship. As a Tool & Die Maker on 1st shift, you’ll keep high volume stamping operations running at peak performance while working with precision tooling, dies, and machining equipment. Position Tool & Die Maker -All Shifts (1st, 2nd, 3rd) - $1,500 Sign-On Retention Bonus! Location USA, LaFayette, GA How You'll Create Possibilities What You’ll Do Repair, maintain, and troubleshoot stamping dies of all types Diagnose issues in press and implement fast corrective actions Disassemble, inspect, polish, and rebuild dies to print Run tool room equipment: surface grinders, mills, lathes, CNC machining centers, Wire EDM Install and adjust die/tooling components Produce or restore components to tight tolerances Communicate tooling needs with operators and supervisors Maintain PM documentation, follow safety & 5S, and support production What You'll Bring to Our Team What You Bring: 2+ years Tool & Die or stamping die maintenance experience Ability to read blueprints and complex die drawings Manual and CNC machining experience preferred Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills Experience with progressive or transfer dies is a plus Preferred: CAD/CAM, SolidWorks, CNC programming, EDM experience, apprenticeship background Also looking for the following capabilities / qualifications in addition to tooling Set up and operate Wire EDM machines to cut precision parts according to engineering drawings and specifications Program or edit programs using machine controls or CAM software as needed 2+ years of Wire EDM machining experience in a manufacturing or tool & die environment Experience with precision machining and tight tolerances Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T Familiarity with CAM programming or EDM machine controls is a plus Why You’ll Love It: Competitive pay Medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) available Day 1 PTO Tuition reimbursement Appliance discounts Career growth in a high‑skill trad Our Culture Our work is centered on our People and Culture as reflected in our Zero Distance philosophy and we recognize the importance of reaffirming our commitment to inclusion and diversity (I&D).This underscores our commitment to fostering an environment where every individual feels valued, connected, and empowered to contribute, while positioning our organization to adapt seamlessly to the evolving needs of our workforce and communities.
