Job Description PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES The Trade Centre Manager will be responsible for managing resources to meet objectives and targets according to approved KPI´s, while keeping the client’s (internal/external) satisfaction in mind. SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES Ensuring the compliance of company policies, rules, quality manual, procedures and any other SGS regulatory document within area under his/her responsibility. Reporting relevant information to the Trade Facilitation Service Management for the decision-making process. Control and monitor all Trade Centre related activities. Provide solutions against problems related to the Trade Centre operations. Ensure cost objectives compliance within the area under his/her responsibility. Ensure an efficient use of resources provided, to comply with performance indicator under the Trade Centre responsibility. Identify training needs amongst Trade Centre staff-members and ensuring that every person is duly equipped to perform all tasks under his/her responsibility. Visit clients to obtain feedback regarding satisfaction levels, as well as provide solutions against client complaints, ensuring actions are taken to improve execution and increase the satisfaction perception level. Communicating and monitoring compliance of operational, quality and finance objectives, as well as performance indicators defined by Trade Facilitation Service Management. Communicating and monitoring compliance of policies and corporate rules such as Quality Policy, Ethic Code, Integrity Declaration, IT Security Policy, Internal Code for Order, Hygiene and Security, Work Instructions, IVP Rules, Country Instructions, and any other document according to Quality Management System. Analyzing administrative and statistical tools to provide operation and quality control over areas under his/her responsibility. Defining and implementing preventive / corrective actions within his/her responsibility area over the basis of information obtained from the analysis, according to statistic and control monitoring tools provided to this purpose. Propose new administrative or statistical tools whenever required to ensure objectives and KPI´s compliance. Assist in Quality Management System claims received from trade, LO, PU, or any other business role, providing with follow up to resolution or final decision. Being in touch (upon request or voluntary) with other offices (PU, LO, VC´s etc.) to solve any problems affecting the execution or releasing of ICV done / CRF delivery. Detecting of training needs and transmit them to the concerned responsible area. Provide training focus in the development of knowledge and skill of personnel under her/her responsibility Training of Trade Centre team (Key Account Trade Analyst) Management of the various platforms to encourage digital transformation in Trade Facilitation Services Implementation of Salesforce to the entire team over a certain period Monitor and control expenses of area under his/her responsibility, ensuring that financial targets are duly complied. Execution of all tasks related to the administration of human resources under his/her responsibility, such as: vacation plan for Trade Centre area, annual personnel evaluation, etc. At all times, comply with SGS Code of Integrity and Professional Conduct Performs any other task / function as assigned by local Management. Qualifications Education Grade 12 Relevant University Degree or equivalent professional Qualification – and/or 3 years proven experience in the sector or within the company in the functions, knowledge, skills and experience sufficient to be recognized as a qualification through Recognition of Prior Learning Valid driver’s license & reliable vehicle Experience Minimum 5 years proven management/supervisory experience with people management skills of a medium to large size organization. Knowledge on inspection procedures (internal training) Experience in SGS TFS services is an advantage REQUIRED SKILLS Decisive, assertive, results and customer oriented Focused on operational and financial results Familiar with management statistical analysis Good communication skills Fluent in English and any other language are an advantage Applies judgment and acts according to the SGS standards of ethics and integrity Demonstrated effective organisational skills including prioritising and managing multiple tasks Focus on detail and accuracy of information Analytical problem solving Teamwork and cooperation Additional Information COMPLIANCE & AUTHORITY Cease the use of any equipment that may be deemed to constitute a safety hazard or enter hazardous environments without the necessary knowledge and protection and report the situation to higher authority to take action.
