Due to our growth and our recent purchase of a state-of-the-art workshop and new CNC Lathes and Milling machines, we have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and enthusiastic Trades Assistant to join our Naval Base workshop . About the role Your duties will include, but not be limited to: Forklift Driving Conduct general workshop/yard cleanliness, tidiness, and litter management Comply with instructions from supervision team. Maintain general tidiness in work area. Maintain proper time keeping practices Personal attributes and skills The successful applicant will be team oriented and capable with the following attributes: Strong communication and customer service skills Mature attitude and self-motivation Ability to take direction and work well under pressure Excellent problem-solving skills A commitment to delivering a high standard of work Successful applicant will also need to meet the following requirements: Hold a current class C driver’s license Hold a current forklift licence Ability to work in a physically demanding role, ability to climb stairs and ladders.
