## Transportation Engineer - Indianapolis, IN DISHER is partnering with a highly respected, growth-oriented civil and environmental engineering firm to identify a **Transportation Engineer** to join their team in their growing Indianapolis or Danville offices. You'll thrive in a collaborative team environment that offers competitive salaries, performance bonus incentives, and a commitment to recruiting and retaining great people. ### What you'll get to do: - Lead design of municipal infrastructure projects with a focus on roadway and trail work, including the development of studies, preliminary and final design, and permitting. - Work with our engineers, designers, technicians, and surveyors to help complete projects on time and on budget. - Administer construction contracts including review of construction submittals, pay applications, and project changes. - Supervise design team to achieve project, client, and corporate objectives. ### What will make you successful: - Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering required. - **5-15 years of related experience desired.** - Experience with the study, planning, and design of municipal infrastructure projects, with a heavy focus on transportation related projects. - A thorough understanding of municipal funding agencies and experience with construction oversight and permitting. - Proven experience in preparing and meeting budgets and schedules. - Proven experience in developing engineering scopes and work plans and developing municipal engineering projects. - Experience in AutoCAD Civil 3D. - Proficient in Microsoft Office. - Good communication skills and a desire to interact effectively with our team. - PE in Indiana is desired but not mandatory. - Previous experience with projects funded by and through INDOT, including CCMG and NOFA funds, is preferred.
