# Truss Designer > CBH Homes · Caldwell, United States · Full-time · Posted 2026-04-15 **Workplace:** on_site **Department:** VCI ## Description - Associate must read architectural prints to create roof truss placement layouts - Design of roof trusses in engineering software ensuring designs are accurate, optimized, and conforms to the current P&P - Provide customer support when necessary - Experience with MiTek software preferred ## Requirements Required Skills - Computer Skills: Word Processing System, Design Software, Internet Software, Database Software - Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos; write simple correspondence; effectively present information to others one-on-one. - Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form; deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Required Experience - General knowledge of the construction industry.
