TUFLOW Coastal Modelling Specialist – Software Development

This is a rare opportunity to join BMT's established TUFLOW Software Team and contribute to the ongoing development, application and support of TUFLOW FV, our 2D and 3D hydrodynamic and environmental modelling software. The role combines coastal engineering, numerical modelling and software development, offering scope to apply existing expertise while further developing specialist capability within a collaborative software focused team. *With over 30 years of continuous development, TUFLOW is internationally recognised as global industry leader for accurate and workflow efficient flood, urban drainage, lake, estuarine and coastal hydrodynamic/environmental modelling software (*[*](https://www.tuflow.com/)*).*As a TUFLOW Coastal Modelling Specialist, you will contribute to the development, testing and enhancement of TUFLOW FV, applying your coastal engineering and numerical modelling expertise to deliver innovative software solutions. Working closely with developers, engineers and support specialists, you will help improve software performance, functionality and usability, translate user and industry needs into product enhancements, and contribute to the future direction of the TUFLOW Software Suite. You will also support technical resources and user engagement activities, with opportunities to publish technical papers, attend conferences, and deliver training and workshops both in Australia and internationally.
