We're continuing to grow our team throughout 2026 and are looking for exceptional UK based UI Designers to help build the next generation of Roblox games. The Role This is the next UK permanent role we'll be hiring for, with an intended start date in the coming months. You'll design interfaces experienced by millions of players. From inventories and shops to progression systems, HUDs and menus, you'll create interfaces that feel like a natural part of the game world while making every interaction intuitive, satisfying and memorable. You'll work directly with programmers, designers, artists and founders. On a small team, your work doesn't disappear into a pipeline. It ships. Players use it. It matters. Freelance Roblox UI Designer Are you an experienced Roblox UI Designer working as a freelancer or contractor globally? We'd still love to hear from you, even if you are not UK based. You do need to be familiar with Roblox Studio before applying. We expect every candidate to download the software, spend time learning the fundamentals and understand the basics of the engine before entering our recruitment process. Roblox Studio is free and straightforward to learn. We do not provide training on the fundamentals. Artistic Judgement Matters Technical ability is important. Artistic judgement is what separates good UI from unforgettable UI. Many designers can create a functional inventory. Far fewer can create an interface that immediately feels right for the game. One that communicates information effortlessly and strengthens every interaction the player has. We're looking for designers who understand that memorable interfaces come from strong creative decisions. Not simply more effects, more layers or more decoration. Hierarchy, readability, composition, colour, animation and personality all matter. In many cases, creating the right interface requires less clicking and more thinking. Why Join Cinnamon? Most developers spend years working on a game before players ever see the results. At Cinnamon, you'll see the impact of your work in months. We move significantly faster than traditional AAA development, but that doesn't mean we compromise on quality. We believe Roblox deserves the same ambition, creativity and craftsmanship as any major gaming platform. We hold ourselves to that standard every day. We've never relied on investors to build Cinnamon. The studio is funded by the success of the games we've already created. Our products have generated billions of visits and reached millions of players worldwide. That allows us to grow through the success of our own games rather than external funding. Our goal is simple. Build some of the best games on Roblox. We've already generated billions of visits across our portfolio. Now we're building the next generation of games designed to reach billions more. We're highly selective about who joins the studio because every individual directly influences the quality of what we create. If you're excited by the idea of designing products at an elite standard, reaching millions of players and seeing the results of your work far sooner than traditional game development allows, we'd love to hear from you.
