UI Designer – Brand UI team

Job description

As a UI Designer in Wix’s Brand UI team, you’ll work at the intersection of Product Design, Visual Design, Design Systems, and Brand, helping shape and evolve the visual language of Wix’s core products. You’ll work across products and teams rather than owning a single feature or flow, creating scalable UI solutions and distinctive visual experiences that bring Wix’s product and brand closer together and impact millions of users. You’ll combine strong visual craft with systems thinking, moving comfortably between the smallest UI details and the bigger picture of how products, patterns, and visual languages connect. Design and evolve visual UI languages and scalable design solutions across Wix products Create and refine UI components, patterns, layouts, and product experiences while considering their impact across broader design systems Work on a wide range of visual product experiences, from complex product UI to motion, interactions, loaders, illustration systems, and AI experiences Collaborate closely with Product Designers, UX teams, Product Managers, developers, Design System teams, and Brand and Marketing designers throughout the design process Translate product needs, brand principles, and existing visual foundations into clear, thoughtful, and scalable product experiences Identify opportunities to bring Wix’s brand into the product experience in meaningful and functional ways, creating stronger connections between product and brand Navigate complex and sometimes ambiguous design challenges, bringing clarity, consistency, and a strong visual point of view to cross-product initiatives At Wix, we believe our best work happens together. Our work model is fully in person, with 5 days a week from our office. Flexibility remains a core value at Wix and special requests are handled thoughtfully at the team level. 2+ years of experience in Product Design, UI Design, or a similar digital product design role, with experience working in a high-tech company, startup, or design agency. A strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional visual craft, attention to detail, and experience designing polished digital interfaces Strong understanding of design systems, UI patterns, components, hierarchy, typography, layout, and interaction design Strong systems-thinking skills, with the ability to understand how individual design decisions affect larger products, experiences, and visual ecosystems High proficiency in Figma, experience working with complex design systems and component libraries, and confidence using AI tools as part of the design process Strong collaboration and communication skills, with curiosity, flexibility, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-moving environment where not every problem comes with a predefined solution Experience designing AI-powered product experiences, or working with motion, interaction design, and illustration systems – an advantage Brand UI is a small, cross-functional design team working horizontally across Wix. We partner with multiple Product and UX teams, the Design System team, and Brand and Marketing teams to shape the visual quality, consistency, and identity of Wix’s products. Our work sits at the intersection of Product Design, Visual Design, Design Systems, and Brand. Rather than focusing primarily on individual features or user flows, we look at Wix’s products as connected visual systems. We create and evolve product visual languages, establish scalable UI patterns, and explore how Wix’s brand can meaningfully come to life within the product itself. As part of a small team with broad reach, you’ll have meaningful ownership across a wide range of design challenges, collaborate with teams and stakeholders across Wix, and help shape experiences used by millions of people around the world. We are Wix’s Design Guild. We’re responsible for making the web a beautiful place. With a multidisciplinary in-house design studio of over 300 designers, our mission is to implement a cohesive and coherent brand strategy across all visual assets at Wix. We believe diversity and perspective help us make our products better. So we’re an energetic and diverse Guild that plays a hands-on role in the creation of eye-catching design templates, products, and promotional content to interior design, cutting-edge visuals, and content-based products that inspire over 243 million users worldwide.
