In this role, you will be responsible for evaluating and processing financial applications, inputting and verifying data with a high degree of accuracy, and ensuring all underwriting decisions meet established guidelines and compliance standards. This is a precision-focused role suited for someone who takes pride in getting the details right. **Key Responsibilities** - Review and evaluate financial applications and supporting documentation - Input and maintain accurate data across underwriting systems and platforms - Verify the completeness and accuracy of submitted information - Assess risk and ensure decisions align with established underwriting guidelines - Flag discrepancies, inconsistencies, or missing information for resolution - Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth processing and timely turnaround - Maintain organized and up-to-date records for all cases - Adhere to compliance standards and internal policies at all times **Required Qualifications** - Proven experience in financial underwriting or a related data-intensive financial role - Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy - Ability to work independently and manage a consistent workload - Excellent written and spoken English for US client-facing communication - Comfortable working US Eastern hours on a full-time basis - Prior remote work experience; candidates without demonstrated remote work experience will not be considered - Experience working with US-based clients **Preferred Qualifications** - Background in financial services, lending, *insurance*, or credit - Familiarity with underwriting software and financial data platforms - Experience working in a high-volume, process-driven environment **Tools & Technology** - Underwriting and financial data platforms - CRM and case management tools - Google Workspace or Microsoft Office Suite - Communication tools (Slack, Zoom, or similar) **Please NOTE** It is crucial that you complete the application form in full.
