MUNA THERAPEUTICS - Company Presentation and Unpaid Internship Opportunities for Students Muna Therapeutics is a clinical-stage biotech company developing first-in-class therapeutics for neurologic diseases. Our strategy is based on an innovative, all-in-human discovery engine, deep understanding of disease genetics and pathophysiology, world-class structural biology expertise, and experienced medicinal chemistry and translational biology, focused on developing small molecule therapeutics for neurodegenerative diseases of global high unmet need. The validation of novel therapeutic targets depends on the availability of robust and physiologically relevant disease models. In this project, you will contribute to the optimization and validation of human stem cell-derived in vitro models and help establish phenotypic assays to evaluate cellular characteristics. Through this work, you will gain hands-on experience in mammalian cell culture, imaging, and molecular biology techniques. All methodologies are established within the laboratory. Dedicated training and supervision will be provided throughout the project. OBJECTIVES OF THE RESEARCH Optimize culture conditions for human stem cell-derived cellular models. Validate cellular assays to assess relevant phenotypic and functional endpoints. Contribute to the validation of novel therapeutic targets in neurodegenerative diseases. You will contribute to scientific projects across Muna's portfolio during a 15–18-we ek (starting in February 2026), non-paid internship, gaining practical experience in a drug discovery environment. As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will collaborate with scientists from diverse backgrounds and gain insight into the development of innovative therapeutics while strengthening your scientific and professional skills. QUALIFICATIONS Currently enrolled as a MSc student in Biochemistry, Biophysics, Biotechnology, Biology, or similar.
