Requisition Number: R-23577 Facility: LOC0010 - Health Express-Weymouth330 Washington Street Weymouth, MA 02188 Department Name: HXP Urgent Care Weymouth Status: Part time Budgeted Hours: 0 Shift: Varied Shifts (United States of America) Greet patients and determine nature of the visit; prepare and assist patients for examination, treatment, or procedure by provider Compensation Pay Range: $25.25 - $35.36 ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS • Maintain patient's safe passage in and out of the practice • Greet, assess and interview patients • Obtain past medical and surgical history, family history, social history, vital signs • Review present medications, allergy history, chief complaint • Prepare and assist patients for examination, treatment, or procedure by provider • Anticipate needs of patients, and the provider • Monitoring of patient during examination, or procedure • Maintain patient care areas • Stocking and ordering of supplies as needed, and maintaining clean exam rooms • Charge and code supplies, medications, and procedures • Respond to patient's concerns in person or by telephone while simultaneously documenting the problem • Maintains patient confidentiality • Administers medications and IVs per physician’s orders • Perform a variety of preliminary procedures, including phlebotomy, injections, throat cultures and more Technology and Learning a - Participates in continued learning and possess a willingness and ability to learn and utilize new technology and procedures that continue to develop in their role and throughout the organization. b - Embraces technological advances that allow us to communicate information effectively and efficiently based on role. Schedule varies and includes weekends and holidays as required. Responsibilities if Required: Education if Required: License/Registration/Certification Requirements: ACLS (AHA) Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification - American Heart Association (AHA) (Including courses offered through SSH), Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification - American Heart Association (AHA) (Including courses offered through SSH), Emergency Medical Services EMT Paramedic - Massachusetts Department of Public Health (DPH) - Office of Health and Human Services (EOHHS), INSTRUCTOR- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) - American Heart Association (AHA) (Including courses offered through SSH), INSTRUCTOR- Basic Life Support (BLS) - American Heart Association (AHA) (Including courses offered through SSH)
