# **Used Car Sales Manager – Mercedes-Benz of Barrington** **Mercedes-Benz of Barrington is looking for an experienced Used Car Sales Manager to lead the growth, performance, and day-to-day success of our pre-owned vehicle department.** The ideal candidate is a results-driven automotive retail leader with strong experience in import, luxury, or highline brands; a proven record of building successful sales teams; and the ability to achieve monthly sales, gross, inventory, and customer satisfaction goals. ## Responsibilities - Manage all aspects of pre-owned inventory, including pricing, merchandising, aging, turn, and profitability. - Lead, coach, and support the pre-owned sales team, including assisting with customer turnover opportunities when needed. - Accurately appraise trade-ins and coordinate reconditioning to help maximize vehicle value and speed to market. - Oversee inventory control, lot presentation, digital advertising, vehicle readiness, and delivery processes in a professional and cost-effective manner. - Administer daily department operations and coordinate activities for pre-owned sales team members. - Partner with dealership leadership to meet monthly sales volume, gross profit, customer experience, and operational goals. ## Qualifications - Minimum 2 years of successful experience as a Used Car Manager at a high-volume franchise dealership. - Mercedes-Benz, luxury, import, or highline automotive experience strongly preferred. - Experience with dealership inventory and appraisal tools, including vAuto or similar dealer solutions. - Comfortable using Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications. - Strong leadership, coaching, communication, and customer service skills. - Proven record of achieving sales goals and maintaining positive CSI scores. - Valid driver’s license with a good driving record. - Must be willing to complete a pre-employment background check and drug screen. ## Job Details **Job Type:** Full-time **Pay:** $120,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year ## Benefits - 401(k) - Dental insurance - Employee assistance program - Employee discount - Flexible spending account - Health insurance - Health savings account - Life insurance - Paid time off - Vision insurance
