UX Internship

Our Story Unum Technology Centre in Carlow serves as a strategic software development and IT services centre supporting Unum, a leading provider of income protection in the US. Our team of IT professionals build solutions and critical business applications to digitally transform the way we do business. UX Designers employ a user centred, design thinking approach to design products that are user friendly and a joy to use. Starting first with the user in mind, they will employ a range of methods such as interviews, surveys and usability studies to identify what the users’ needs are and what jobs they are trying to complete. Based on that, they will create user flows and wireframes which they can use to test the idea and also to communicate the idea to other stakeholders. From there, they will create high fidelity prototypes that can be tested, refined and built.
