Emergent builds autonomous coding agents that replace traditional software development by generating, testing, and deploying production applications directly from plain-language intent. The team is built by **repeat founders, Olympiad medalists, IIT & IIM alumni,** and leaders from **Google, Amazon, and Dropbox.** We're hiring builders who want ownership, speed, and impact at global scale. **What You'll Do:** - Build a system to conduct and evangelise user research at high frequency - Independently plan and execute generative and evaluative research, including user interviews, usability testing, surveys, contextual inquiries, diary studies, concept testing, and journey mapping - Partner closely with Product Managers, Designers, Engineers, and business stakeholders to ensure research insights inform product roadmaps, feature prioritization, and design decisions - Analyze qualitative and quantitative data to identify user needs, behaviors, pain points, and opportunities - Create clear research outputs such as insight reports, personas, journey maps, opportunity frameworks, and product recommendations - Present findings to stakeholders and leadership through compelling storytelling and actionable recommendations - Mentor junior researchers and help strengthen user-centered thinking across the organization - Improve research operations, including templates, repositories, processes, tools, and best practices - Advocate for inclusive, accessible, and evidence-based product experiences **What We're Looking For:** - 6+ years of hands-on experience independently planning and executing UX research - Strong experience with both generative and evaluative research methods - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Cognitive Science, Psychology, Anthropology, Design, Sociology, or a related field preferred - Proficiency with research and analysis tools such as UserTesting, Qualtrics, Optimal Workshop, Dovetail, Maze, Lookback, Miro, Figma, Axure, or similar - Strong ability to synthesize complex findings into practical product and design recommendations - Excellent storytelling, communication, and stakeholder management skills - Ability to articulate the user and business impact of research-driven decisions - Experience working in cross-functional product teams in fast-paced or agile environments - Portfolio or case studies demonstrating research impact on product strategy, design, or business outcomes **Good to Have:** - Experience with B2C products, AI-powered products, consumer applications, marketplaces, or similar digital products - Experience building or scaling research operations - Familiarity with product analytics, experimentation, or behavioral data - Experience conducting accessibility or inclusive design research **Why Join Us:** - Research insights directly shape product strategy, prioritization, and design direction - Teams make better decisions because they have a clearer understanding of users - Research leads to measurable improvements in usability, adoption, satisfaction, and business outcomes - Stakeholders see UX research as a strategic partner throughout the product lifecycle **Benefits and Perks:** 1.
