Company Cox Automotive - USA Job Family Group Vehicle Operations Job Profile Vehicle Operations Logistics Specialist I (Union) Management Level Individual Contributor Flexible Work Option No remote option; must work at a specified Cox location Travel % No Work Shift Evening Job Description Duties: Input accurate vehicle information for registration into the system using a handheld computer (zebra TC) for each vehicle received at the auction. Vehicle identification number (VIN). Stock number Dealer identification number make, model, year, mileage, color, options, etc. Affix barcode/stock number sticker on each vehicle received. Place work order numbers and routing labels on vehicles upon entry. associate and install OBDII tracking device. Direct transporters to proper car drop zone. Visibly demonstrate safety commitment by following all safety and health procedures and modeling the behaviors related to such. Work in cooperation with safety leadership in support of all safety activities aligned with Safety Excellence. Perform other duties as assigned by manager or supervisor. Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma/GED Safe drivers needed; valid driver's license required Basic computer skills required Regularly required to stand, walk, reach, talk, and hear. Frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, squat, and climb. Ability to lift 1-15 pounds. Vision abilities required include close, distance, and color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Work environment: This is an outside position with exposure to the weather elements in Michigan.
