We’re looking for someone who wants to be part of a team that genuinely lifts each other up, works collaboratively, communicates openly, and delivers patient care in a way that feels calm, thorough, and deeply human. If you’re seeking a part‑time role where psychological safety, thoughtful medicine, and true teamwork are the norm and not the exception, this may be exactly where you’re meant to be. Why You’ll Love Working Here Our clinic is built on team‑centric care, where clients don’t just have a “regular vet,” they have a primary care team. Nurses are deeply involved in patient care, client support, preventative guidance, and communication, while our scribe software, Heidi Health, ensures every record is accurate and complete, giving vets more time to do what they do best: think, diagnose, plan, and treat. We’re proud of the medicine we provide, but even more proud of the culture behind it. Here, everyone is treated as equal - every voice matters, every skill is valued, and every person contributes to the high standard we’re known for. What Makes Us Truly Unique A Collaborative Culture You Can Feel Our team consistently says their favourite part of working here is the culture. We focus on feedback instead of frustration, growth instead of ego, and support instead of stress. We’re protective of the safe, caring environment we’ve built and we invite people who value kindness and collaboration to join us. Stories That Show Who We Are A lovely but fearful dog, who previously relied on a muzzle for every visit, now bursts through our doors happily, unmuzzled, excited to see his vet team. Through consistent teamwork, problem‑solving, and a stress‑free approach, he now shares reception with other dogs and receives ongoing outpatient care with confidence. His transformation is the kind of work that fills our cups. When a much‑loved pet suffered a severe foot laceration at the park, the entire team mobilised instantly - triaging, stabilising, treating, and communicating seamlessly while still caring for all our other patients. The owner later brought a handmade card to thank the whole team because every person genuinely made a difference. A Team You’ll Be Proud to Work With If we could clone anyone, it would be Belinda , one of our phenomenal nurses - adaptable, positive, an excellent communicator, and always growing and helping others grow. But truthfully? We'd take a double of anyone on our team! We are change‑motivated, approachable, and constantly learning together like a mini teaching hospital. A Manager Who Prioritises Your Life Outside Work We take work‑life balance seriously and always with a dose of humour (“we think it’s good…”). No weekends. No overtime (we manage this as a priority). Taking leave is encouraged, not frowned upon. We debrief after distressing cases, protect mental space, and help you walk out the door with a clear mind so you can enjoy your life. Location & Lifestyle West Gosford offers the perfect Central Coast balance: Beautiful beaches, bush trails, national parks, and outdoor living with Sydney and Newcastle just an hour away. It’s an easy, relaxed lifestyle with the benefits of city access.
