Our ideal rota is approximately 35 hours per week, worked over just three weekdays, alongside a 1 in 4 weekend rota. We also have Emma, our full-time Veterinary Surgeon, who is currently on maternity leave and holds an Ophthalmology Certificate, bringing further expertise to the practice. Our vets are supported by five RVNs and one VCA, with a wealth of knowledge and experience across the nursing team, including one nurse with an incredible 30 years in practice. We’re keen to continue developing our nursing team by increasing their involvement with Schedule 3 procedures, helping our vets make the best use of their time while giving our nurses further opportunities to develop their clinical skills. There’s also a real breadth of additional knowledge within the team. Sophie RVN holds an ISFM Cat Friendly Nursing Certificate, while our Practice Manager, Maya, holds a Fear Free Certificate and is training to become a Mental Health First Aider, alongside an existing MHFA within the practice.
