Veterinary Technician - Oncology

**Quartet Veterinary Specialty Hospital** in **Cary, NC**, is seeking experienced **Veterinary Technicians** to join its new **Oncology** service. In this role, you will help launch and grow the service during an exciting period of expansion, with the opportunity to make a lasting impact on the team, hospital culture, and community. **Key Responsibilities:** - Support the daily operations of the oncology service in collaboration with the oncologist. - Assist with cancer staging, diagnostics, and treatment planning. - Administer chemotherapy and monitor patient responses. - Safely handle, prepare, and dispose of cytotoxic medications according to safety protocols. - Perform venipuncture, IV catheter placement, and medication calculations. - Communicate effectively with clients and team members. - Foster a positive, collaborative hospital culture. **Schedule:** This is a full-time position Four 10-hour shifts per week.
