Business Function Group Marketing & Communications is responsible for building, protecting, and enhancing the DBS brand in an increasingly commoditised banking industry. Working closely with all units within the DBS Group, we create and execute integrated strategies that focus on communications especially digital communications, marketing, and research to differentiate - and elevate - our brand from the rest of the competition. This role partners closely with IBG industry teams, product specialists, relationship managers and external agencies to drive industry marketing programmes across key industries, products and propositions. And responsible for driving integrated marketing initiatives spanning thought leadership, content development, flagship client events, account-based marketing (ABM), digital campaigns and lead generation. The role combines strategic planning with hands-on execution and will leverage Generative AI and Agentic AI to enhance marketing effectiveness, content creation, audience engagement and performance optimisation. Key Responsibilities Events & Client Management Plan and execute flagship events, executive roundtables, client forums and industry conference sponsorships. Manage end-to-end event delivery including concept development, budgeting, content curation, stakeholder management, logistics, onsite execution and post-event follow-up. Partner with senior stakeholders, relationship managers and industry teams to deliver differentiated client experiences that strengthen relationships and generate commercial opportunities. Develop post-event engagement and lead nurturing programmes to maximise participation, conversion and ROI. Industry Marketing & Thought Leadership Develop and execute industry marketing programmes aligned to business priorities, client needs and emerging sector trends. Create and manage thought leadership content including research reports, articles, client stories, videos, executive briefings and sector insights. Partner with relationship managers, product specialists, economists and external experts to translate industry developments into compelling, commercially relevant narratives. Manage content calendars and content distribution across internal, owned, earned and paid channels. Optimise content for SEO and Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO) to improve discoverability across traditional and AI-powered search platforms. Leverage Generative AI and Agentic AI to accelerate content ideation, research, personalisation, localisation and content performance optimisation. Lead awards submissions, industry polls, client case studies and amplification of award wins to strengthen DBS' market positioning. Demand Generation & Digital Marketing Execute integrated marketing campaigns across digital, social, ABM and partner channels to drive awareness, engagement and acquisition. Develop lead generation and lead nurturing programmes that support pipeline growth and commercial outcomes. Utilise marketing technology platforms and AI-enabled tools to improve targeting, campaign effectiveness and conversion rates. Partner with media, digital and performance marketing teams to maximise content reach, engagement and business impact. Performance Management Define and track KPIs across campaigns, events and content programmes, including engagement, lead generation, pipeline influence and marketing ROI. Analyse customer, market and campaign data to generate actionable insights and optimise marketing investments. Prepare performance reports and recommendations for stakeholders. Support budget planning and management, ensuring discipline in cost control and resource utilisation. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Finance, or related field 8-10 years of proven experience planning and executing successful marketing events, preferably within banking, financial services, or professional services industries Experience managing executive-level stakeholders and external agencies. Strong understanding of digital marketing, ABM, performance marketing, content marketing and social media marketing. Experience using Generative AI tools with strong interest in Agentic AI applications and marketing automation. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, Canva, Cvent, marketing automation platforms and digital analytics tools.
