Video Editor - Performance Marketing

Job description

**This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Video Editor – Performance Marketing based remotely in Brazil.** We are looking for a performance-driven Video Editor to create compelling, conversion-focused video advertisements for a portfolio of direct-to-consumer brands. You will transform AI-generated scripts and raw creative assets into polished short-form ads designed for Meta and TikTok. Working within a fast-paced, AI-assisted production environment, you will deliver approximately 20 video variations per day while maintaining creative quality and consistency. Beyond editing, you will analyze campaign performance, identify successful creative patterns, and use data insights to improve future content. You will also help shape internal AI editing workflows by sharing feedback and identifying opportunities to streamline production. This fully remote opportunity offers the chance to directly influence advertising performance within a growing international eCommerce business. ### Accountabilities You will produce high-volume, sales-focused video content while continuously refining creative execution based on campaign results and performance insights. Your responsibilities will include: - Create short-form, direct-response video advertisements for Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and TikTok, primarily promoting physical products through videos under 45 seconds. - Transform AI-generated scripts into polished, engaging advertisements, refining messaging, pacing, visuals, and structure to maximize conversion potential. - Produce approximately six or more unique video concepts daily, each with three variations, targeting around 18–20 finished videos per day with support from AI tools. - Use internal AI-powered editing tools to accelerate clip selection, editing, and creative production. - Provide regular feedback on AI-assisted workflows, identifying bottlenecks, suggesting improvements, and helping shape future tool development. - Occasionally write advertising scripts and develop creative concepts for projects not yet integrated into the AI workflow. - Review weekly campaign performance data to identify successful and underperforming creatives and apply those insights to future production. - Track key performance indicators, including video output, advertising spend behind creative assets, and the number of validated ads that progress to scaling. - Maintain consistent communication with the marketing team, share ideas, participate in meetings, and proactively flag challenges. - Deliver creative assets efficiently without compromising quality or the production schedule. ### Requirements The ideal candidate combines strong video editing expertise with a performance marketing mindset and a clear understanding of what makes direct-response advertisements effective. You should be comfortable working with AI-assisted production tools, interpreting campaign results, and delivering high volumes of creative content in a fast-moving environment. The following qualifications are expected: - Proven experience editing direct-response video advertisements for physical products and direct-to-consumer (DTC) brands, rather than primarily brand-awareness campaigns. - A demonstrable portfolio of performance-focused video ads, ideally supported by concrete results such as sales generated, advertising spend, or campaign performance. - Strong understanding of high-converting advertising formats, creative structures, hooks, and messaging techniques. - Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro. - Familiarity with motion graphics and media asset management platforms such as iconik or similar tools. - Comfort working with AI-assisted editing tools and fast-paced production workflows. - Strong communication skills, responsiveness, and the ability to manage priorities and deliver work independently. - Proactive ownership, including the ability to identify problems early, share feedback, and contribute ideas to improve creative processes. **Nice to have:** - Creative strategy experience, including writing advertising scripts, identifying target audience pain points, and addressing buyer objections. - Experience working across multiple DTC brands, products, or market niches. - Familiarity with AI video and audio tools such as ElevenLabs and AI video generation platforms. - Broader experience developing and optimizing AI-powered creative workflows. ### Benefits - Fully remote position with flexible working arrangements. - Competitive compensation paid directly in USD. - Opportunities for professional development and career growth as the business expands into new products and initiatives. - Opportunity to work with an international team in a fast-growing eCommerce environment. - Direct impact on advertising performance, creative strategy, and brand growth. - Exposure to AI-assisted production tools and evolving creative workflows.
