Job description

The VOD Image team sits within Digital Curation and creates and optimizes artwork for streaming platforms, specifically for the U streaming service and apps like Amazon Fire, Apple TV, and Freely. They ensure high-quality, engaging visuals for content discovery across digital, focusing on the U brand identity and the end goal of optimizing imagery to increase on-demand viewing. **Purpose of the role**We’re seeking a VOD Image Manager to oversee the creation and delivery of high-quality visual assets across a portfolio of on-demand platforms for UKTV. Working with the Head of Digital Curation and the wider Digital team they are responsible for devising and executing the digital imagery strategy. You’ll manage a team of VOD image designers while working closely with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders. Success in this role depends on your ability to communicate effectively, adapt quickly to shifting business priorities, and ensure alignment across teams—particularly with curation and editorial functions – as well as being technically proficient and familiar with offerings for U, Pay TV VoD platforms and FAST. This role requires a strong leader who can balance creative excellence with operational delivery at scale.
