Job description
**This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a VP - Global Sourcing for Finished Products based in United States.** This executive role leads the global sourcing strategy for finished products across a growing, multi-site organization. You will shape procurement strategy, supplier partnerships, cost structures, and sourcing processes to support both revenue growth and EBITDA improvement. The position combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution across supplier selection, development, negotiations, risk management, and cost optimization. You will work closely with procurement, supply chain, engineering, quality, finance, sales, logistics, and product teams to strengthen the global supply base. A major focus will be supporting aggressive growth initiatives, including expansion through the Amazon channel, while improving supplier performance and margins. You will also build internal procurement capabilities and develop a high-performing global sourcing organization across multiple brands. This is a high-impact leadership opportunity requiring strong executive presence, commercial judgment, and the ability to influence stakeholders across the organization. ### Accountabilities: - Develop and execute global finished goods sourcing strategies across the organization’s full finished product spend. - Lead tactical sourcing execution while ensuring procurement strategies support revenue growth, profitability, and broader business objectives. - Drive an aggressive revenue growth strategy with particular emphasis on the Amazon channel. - Promote Lean Manufacturing best practices among key suppliers to improve productivity, throughput, quality, and supply performance. - Foster supplier collaboration to support product innovation, margin improvement, productivity gains, and cost reduction initiatives. - Partner with Engineering and product teams on new product development, value engineering, design-to-value initiatives, competitive analysis, and product platforming across brands. - Resolve supply challenges and support production and planning teams by ensuring reliable access to and timely delivery of materials. - Conduct make-versus-buy assessments and lead outsourcing and insourcing initiatives for key product lines and components. - Monitor commodity, raw material, and market trends to inform sourcing strategies and proactively manage cost exposure. - Benchmark supply costs across markets to evaluate and improve the organization’s competitive cost position. - Lead should-cost modeling initiatives to understand purchased product and component cost structures and support fact-based negotiations. - Evaluate acquisition opportunities and deliver sourcing-related synergy savings commitments. - Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, and Sales to develop sourcing strategies that provide natural hedges against external cost and supply volatility. - Collaborate with Logistics to manage suppliers, service-level agreements, and delivery performance. - Lead supplier selection, qualification, development, productivity improvement, relationship management, and negotiations. - Establish and manage supplier scorecards while identifying and mitigating Tier 1, Tier 2, and extended supply chain risks. - Build and lead a global sourcing organization, defining centralized and decentralized procurement responsibilities across brands. - Develop procurement capabilities, processes, governance, and organizational structures that support long-term growth. - Plan, organize, evaluate, and direct department employees while developing a high-performing global team. **Requirements:** - Bachelor’s degree required;
