Job description
Summary: Responsible for operations associated with inbound and outbound shipments and supporting the warehouse supervisors and leads. Duties: • Accurately schedule all inbound and/or outbound freight shipments. • Accurately document all inbound and/or outbound shipments. • Assist the Supervisor and/or Lead with maintaining flow of containers/orders on the floor. • Assist on the warehouse floor with breakdown and wrapping of pallets, labeling, unloading/loading trucks, etc. • Identify mistakes before they are received and/or shipped and record errors to drive continuous improvement. • Ensure documentation of processes and procedures are up to date. • Work with Supply Chain on shipments that have overages and shortages. • Create labels for international and/or domestic shipments as needed. • Accurately create export documents for international shipments. • Create packing lists for customer orders and transfer orders. • Assist with order processing. • Assist with receiving inbound shipments. • Assist with daily Cash orders. • Complete international shipping docs and consolidations. • Maintain WMS. • Other duties as assigned. Education and Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED required. 2+ years of related job experience preferred. RF handheld experience preferred. Proficient with Microsoft Excel. Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk on level surfaces for a prolonged period. The employee frequently is required to talk and hear; use hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms above should height and below the waist. The employee must be able to lift up to 20 lbs. 70% of the day and up to 65 lbs. 30% of the day. Working Conditions: Non-climate-controlled warehouse
